US publisher Hearst Media reckons this 11.5-inch, bendy e-book reader is the perfect home for digital newspapers and magazines, not like those piddly pocket-sized devices.

The Skiff's flexible e-paper technology is based on stainless steel foil. It includes the near-obligatory touchscreen and 3G and Wi-Fi connectivity and will go on sale in the US later this year, though no word on price yet.
